I always heard cheese before sleeping gives vivid dreams. (doesn't work for me!:)) When I am looking for ideas I like to go into a trance state and let the characters move around in my head with different dialogues and scenes. Soaking in the bath is a great place for this.

I agree that the oldest would be strongest, but wouldn't they also use up their energy faster as they are able to create stronger fireballs?

Fiverr or Freelancer might be more affordable places to look. I don't think you'll find anybody cheaper than €1.50 per page to be honest as mentioned above.
