I agree, depends on content and purpose. I found when I was writing up an appendix for my series it became so big I decided to cut it in the end. It's currently awaiting to be made into a stand alone companion. Still on my considerable to do list!

If I'm on point, 1000 words an hour is easily doable as I'm a fast typist. Admittedly, they won't be good words; they will require editing and review.
