A new weapon in the battle against procrastination

Ha, nice little tool, and for $10 - what's not to love? My writing laptop - a crumby old work dell - doesn't even have a wifi card in it, so it's a problem I understand but don't have. I wonder though, how easy it is for a savvy user to kill the process or cheat their way around it?

Basic Sales Data on my Published Works

Thanks for sharing - it's quite illuminating to see that the eBook version accounts for the lions share of the sales. Do you think many of them would have bought the paperback if the EBook hadn't existed?

When to start an Author Site

Has anyone had any luck with any social media utilities? The problem seems to be replication of information across multiple platforms - including personal websites.

If it wasn't for routinely misspelling Facebook whilst key-bashing I never would have found F.A.E. Welcome to Faeries and Enchantment | FAE Magazine ®

How do you prefer to write?

I used to write freehand and always thought I would do being of a traditionalist bent, but breaking my hand sometime ago has put paid to that. Now my handwriting is terrible, and I can't seem to draw either - though maybe that's just lack of practice. I now write on a crappy laptop with no...

    Underrated Cultures

The cultures of South East Asia are particularly rich during the 'middle age' period in which most fantasy worlds are set. The Khmer empire is one I know a little bit about having been lucky to go there a couple of times. During the 12c it's capital is thought to have been, at that time, the...

    Villages in forests

The people living in the forest may have settled in a secure and hidden location after fleeing an enemy or persecution. They may have been exiled there and are carrying a terrible but well concealed affliction, cut off from the outside world they may hold fast views or practices that are at odds...

    Anti-Wizard ideas

Even though in a Sci-Fi setting, in the GW 40K world, the 'blanks' are effectively passive 'anti wizards' who are greatly hated and feared by 'magic users' Blank (Psychic) - Warhammer 40K Wiki - Space Marines, Chaos, planets, and more

...and it's hello from me, on a lovely day.

Ah, thanks for the nice messages. I've been away from my computer, and it was unexpectedly nice to see.

...and it's hello from me, on a lovely day.

I've used Mythic Scribes a bit selfishly over the past 12 months, voraciously consuming information and giving nought back. So sorry for that. And a belated hello. I would like to tell you what I've been up to, using all the resources, tips and ideas to help hone my new Fantasy Gamebook...
