Maybe it's just me, but I tend to find the first few paragraphs of a story to be the easiest. If I had to guess, I'd say that it's because I'm not deep enough into the story for it to have any of the rules or restrictions that come later after the premise is established. If that makes sense...
I wish I would have been able to try some of the White Wolf stuff. Seems like I remember that stuff starting to come out around the time my friends and I were pretty much done playing RPGs and moving on to other things.
I didn't mind when he was dating the mob bosses daughter so much. I think that storyline/relationship should have been given a lot longer to develop. It's having to follow his best friend and his ex around on their little dating adventure that I really don't care about. And like I've said, it...

Looks very nice. I've recently been working on a map for my novel as well. My problem is that everytime I think I have it down, I get some new ideas and my map just seems to keep expanding.
I generally only share my story ideas with a friend of mine. We don't talk often anymore but I always felt that the discussions that we shared helped to motivate us to keep writing. It was a good way of keeping my creative juices flowing. I do agree w/ MadMadys about ideas never really being...
