Describe your narratives in as few standalone terms as you can.

You already have a good start Lowan, but do you reckon you could whittle those down even further to singular words/themes?
Gah. Concise is not my factory setting. :D But yes, absolutely. We deal with a stupid number of themes, but it's how the story lays so we're letting it run. Addiction - we have several characters and the ones around them who face the realities of addiction every day, because that's what you do when you're fighting a war. Redemption is another big one. We believe that no one is beyond redemption, but it needs to be earned, not gifted. not tucked into a corner of the closet and ignored for 40 years. We deal with many interconnected themes of abuse, assault, and survival. And, since it's a multigenerational family saga, in the middle of all of this mayhem we have families trying to survive raising children in the most preternaturally populated by capita city in the world. We have generational abuse, the cognitive dissonance between sipping a fine whiskey at the bar while at least two of the guys you just walked past had studied you and found you too hard to overcome to justify the calories spent.

The guys decided you were too much of a literal mouthful and they moved on to someone else. Because that's what happens. And so I ended up writing a small dissertation on the themes and forgot the rest. 😜
