Writing fiction has long been a passion of mine, but my career in nursing, first as a staff nurse and now as a nurse researcher on track to finish my PhD by 2018, has taken priority. While I intend to continue my nursing career as primary, I am very much still drawn to writing fantasy. Most of my projects have a grimdark bent. I value quality over quantity and am constantly looking to further my knowledge and skill in the craft of writing. I have no intention of seeking publication until after the completion of my PhD and the post-doctoral position that will follow it.
