    Hmm What to wear?

Try this on for size, I started making a visual thesaurus for fantasy writers a little while ago (at first I thought it was going to be hard, then after creating three pages I realised it would be next to impossible). Peasant Clothes

    Wordpress Blog Share

It is more targeted toward indie published authors - e-book, kindle - and people who post their stories in their blog. That said, if someone is trade-published it would not exclude them from a feature. For writers: The posts themselves are just a positive look at the person's blog. It's not a...

    Wordpress Blog Share

I've started a new thing I'm doing wherein every other week I review a fantasy (or sci-fi) writer who follows my blog. It is a bid to generate a stronger community between my readership. The only problem is, of my followers very few of them fit my theme; plenty are writers themselves, but they...

    WordPress Questions

Get private hosting and domain - I use hostgator. You can then contact a wordpress.com moderator and they will transfer your followers to your wordpress-powered website. How Many Fantasy Plots are There Really?

There are seven basic plots in fiction: man vs. nature man vs. man man vs. the environment man vs. machines man vs. the supernatural man vs. self man vs. god All plots can in one way or another bit fit into these exceedingly broad groups because they are just that. In my latest novel I've...

    Jose Vega's Artwork!

Your art is tight man! You've got a really good feel for depth, love the landscapes. It's impressive to see so much detail in a piece and for it to not wind up looking amateurish. Jealous.

Map of Ellias from the Call of Heroes universe

Subtle, and has a lot of old world charm. I really like it, as I have a tendency to go overboard with my maps. The result being a cluttered image.

A sampling of my fantasy art

I really like the maps. They're reminiscent of nineties role-playing games: Hands down the golden-era of PC-RPG's.

    Sex?

There is a fair bit of sexual content in my work but I avoid writing explicit scenes. It's unavoidable in a story about adults, I think. But, as the saying goes: sex sells :).

    Happy to have found you.

Hello all, Not much really to say, along with being a mediocre writer, I'm also a mediocre fantasy artist . I've been drawing for the better part of eight years, and earn me keep as a freelance graphic designer. So hopefully I'll be able to help people with cover-designs and what not. Love...

    A few of my scribbles.

Hello all, I thought this might be a good place to introduce myself as it's a little more fun then a intro forum (will probably pop in there too). I write under the psyeudnym Allen V. Cortez and am currently in the process of building up a website devoted to the world I'm working on: Etheros...
