I would definitely read more stories about undead elves or undead orcs...
Wait! That's not what this topic is about? My bad.
They do seem less common these days, which is fine. I'd rather have them be left out than be forced into a story for the sake of including them.
To add to the existing list:
Disgaea 4 if you're okay with SRPG's, as it's my favorite game on the system. Resonance of Fate is good, and definitely different. Alpha Protocol has some of the best "consequences" for your decisions. Eternal Sonata is very colorful.
Dragon Age 2 is much...
Alloy of Law is definitely more Wild West. It does have trains, but those have been around.
I think he intends to eventually have some "modern" stuff set in that same world.
Back in January, I slipped carrying a television down the stairs. My immediate reaction was of surprise (in the "how did I manage that?" variety). Then I angrily threw the television to the side (it was resting on my lower leg, having broken my leg/ankle in two places). Then I tried to get...
"Lies of Locke Lamora" is one of my favorite books. I haven't read the second book yet, but it's on my list once I finish Simon Green's "The Man with the Golden Torc."
I've been a huge fan of Greek mythology since I was a kid. Norse would fall in at second place. I was never really a fan of Egyptian myths. The setting is interesting, but I couldn't get into the gods.
Greek hero stories were/are my favorite. Trust those Greeks to throw together...
I'm enjoying the series more than I expected. Then again, I had low expectations, considering I'm not even much of a fan of the series. That being said, the first book was great, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised. The best characters were my favorite ones from the book, so there's that, as...
I gave up on the series after book eight. It started strongly, but there was just so much unnecessary dragging in the middle parts. I also had a sinking suspicion that the poor guy was going to die before finishing, which turned out to be true... which really sucked. I'd always intended to...
The Lord of the Rings trilogy tops my list of favorite movies.
I'm not nearly as big a fan of the novels. It's not that I didn't enjoy them, but I've read a lot of books I enjoyed more.
