    SyFy's The Expanse

I loved it. It had a great plot and set of characters. It was also the hardest Sci-Fi I've ever seen on TV. Well, except for that water scarcity thing. Water is as common as dirt in space.

The Order of Phantasmal Architects: A RoyalRoadL group

So I founded a group on RoyalRoadL. Which if you don't know is a writing website geared towards very amateur writers and it has a lot of asian light novel influences. The Order of Phantasmal Architects is a group of authors on RoyalRoadl who are dedicated to writing works that are atypical...

    What are you Reading Now?

I just finished reading The Bands of Mourning by Brandon Sanderson. I like it but it wasn't my favorite book by him by a long shot. I was expecting more to get resolved in the third novel but that didn't happen. They've still barely introduced the Big Bad.

The Iron Teeth: A Free Dark Fantasy Web Serial

These are the Iron Teeth. This is the north proper, the very knife edge of civilization. Here among the stark mountains and endless forests there are undiscovered treasures, amongst countless unmarked graves. Here, monsters stalk the night and outlaws gather. It is the land of the desperate and...

    Books you really hated?

Eragon, and the Inheritance Cycle. I don't know that sup par cliche ridden nonsense was ever published.

    Philosophy in your worlds

This is a very interesting topic. I have a bit of background in philosophy, mostly ethics. I've been considering throwing a clash between cultures with very different ethical system in my writing. For example, Utilitarians who want to maximize happiness at all costs versus Deontologists who...

    Arctic Planet

This seems like an interesting idea. I'm thinking you would have to put some thought into the food web and creatures of your world. Are you planning on creating your own or using earth animals? Do you know the ecology of polar bears? They aren't land animals. They need to hunt on arctic ice...

The Style and Flavor of Thaumaturgy?

I think your system is sound mechanically, and interesting. The one concern I would have is that its seems like a completely internal psychic type power, with no external or knowledge based aspects. So you don't need to study or learn to us this power, you're just born with the power to fling...
