Welcome to the world of goblins, gingerbread cities and eight-stemmed mushrooms …

Great concept, I am intrigued! Will let you know how I get on when I get time, got a huge reading list at the moment :)

The Temple of Heart and Bone

Hi Sam I actually liked the cover, but then I am drawn to anything with skulls on it, call me me morbid :) I also like the description and will download a sample and let you know, regardless of whether I enjoy it or not I would like to say well done for getting something completed first...

Cover for No Such Thing As Werewolves. Does it grab you?

Awesome! I love it, although I am biased as I am a werewolf fan. Seriously though nice artwork, I am glad he appears to be walking on two legs :) I was initially confused by the pyramids until I read the back. I am intrigued for sure!

Would this cover put you off?

It's just a mock up at the moment and I am waiting for my friend to finalise it, he is still waiting for a response from someone in regards to copyright issues so I don't want to post anything until I am certain I own it completely. I just wanted to know if I should carry on with this theme or...

What Interests You In A Cover?

I tend to like book covers that are vibrant shelf candy that give a little bit of insight and intrigue to the story.

    Runemaster cover.

Love the artwork, I love covers like this, reminds me of the old school fantasy books. I also like the sound of your druidess Evi

Would this cover put you off?

Hi all, I have a friend designing a cover for me at the moment and I have always had in mind what I wanted for it. He sent me the first mock up yesterday and initially I loved it but now the more I look at it the more I am worried it will scare people or put people off. The cover is of an...

    The start of a cover

I like it, has a very druidic feel, I prefer it now since you removed the strong green background as it initially reminded me of magic the gathering.

    Cover for Shardfall

I like it, the only thing I would suggest is changing the font colour to maybe silver or gold, because at the moment (to me) their is too much green so doesn't stand out enough ( the cloak, the glowing hand, the material he is garrotting the bloke with). Other than that, it has a very Robert...

    Should I change my cover?

I prefer the one you have already, although both are good

Proposed Cover Design for "Quest; The Road to Falsbad"

I also see the glow as coming from the woods and not the sword, but I like that. It draws my eyes to the path ahead and gives it a feeling that the reader will be embarking on a mystical journey to the unknown. The only thing I would suggest is maybe changing the font as it doesn't fit as...

    Forms of Magic

I've always been a fan of destruction magic, I like it simple, when people tend to have too complex magic systems I get bored, Name of the wind is a good example - I know a lot of people loved this book but the magic system put me off. I prefer Terry Goodkind magic, your standard fire balls and...

    Which book to focus on?

Hello Severin Thanks for the reply, you're absolutley right and the strange thing is once I decided to focus on my Adult novel I had another wave of inspiration for my teenage fiction and wrote a few pages last night, seems when I force myself my mind rebels :) So I will just work on...

    Which book to focus on?

Thanks guys for the fast and helpful response :) I will focus on my Adult novel as I enjoy writing that more and try to worry less about trying to get a story out there for the sake of it. It's funny, although both WIP are fantasy based I think it is also the writing style I have trouble with...
