George Lightgood

My wife and I live in Italy. She is Italian and I am American. I have been fortunate enough to live for a time in Zambia, (roaming southern Africa) around the US and Europe.

Among my other passions, I read voraciously and have since I was a little kid. It is not unusual for me to read several books at the same time, unless I hit on one that is totally engrossing.

I write stories almost as much as reading them, though have never so much as submitted a manuscript, let alone be published. It has always been for myself, mostly just for the sake of having done it. I’ve said elsewhere that it is the literary equivalent of cocktail napkin doodling.

Writing stories is almost the same as reading a new one. Who knows what will happen next?
