Ian's YA novel 'The Infinity Trap' is a thriller full of teenage psychics, monsters and demons, set on a futuristic Mars. The sequel 'Gravity's Eye' came out July 2015 with a third in the pipeline. His non-fiction 'A Children’s History of Nottinghamshire', proved a local bestseller and Ian visits schools with his History Roadshow, a lively mix of pictures, quizzes, and storytelling.
After an apprenticeship writing for magazines and the press Ian graduated with an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction). Several of his short stories have been published and won competitions. He contributed to the graphic anthology 'To End All Wars' which garnered 2 Eisner nominations. His radio play 'Long Shadows' was broadcast in Canada early 2014. He is also now writes for the Iris Wildthyme books.
