If you would know one thing about me, know this: I am stubborn. Like the mountains I live among, still reaching for the sky after a billion years. Stubborn like my people, still standing after thousands of years.

My greatest strength and greatest flaw, that stubborn seed within me realized long ago that there were those who sought to destroy me. It refused to allow them victory. That seed kept me from giving up on my writing habit. No matter what life threw at me, I never stopped writing, and today I write fiction serials, essays, and other random stuff.

I have an enduring love affair with common tropes and have a great deal of fun playing with them (and fucking them up.) To paraphrase the man: this is the essence of Jess, the rest is details.
