Ken Muckenhaupt
Ken is a retired information technology consultant from a major computer manufacturer where he worked for 38 years. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Marist College and a Masters of Science in Technical Writing from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In retirement, Ken is an adjunct professor at the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business, the assistant treasurer for the board of directors of the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, as well as a certified emergency medical technician for his local fire district.
Most of the writing throughout his professional career has been technical, and he has published articles in computer industry trade magazines and technical publications. In contrast, The Nuum Desecration and Nuum Persecution are Ken's first novels which developed from his desire to write a fantasy story that transcends the typical didactics of the fantasy genre by basing the story on a very common human struggle: the fight against tyrannical subjugation that threatens free thinking and expression. His interest in fantasy stems primarily from a lifelong interest in science fiction and fantasy cinema.
