Thats cool actually, i can dig that. Its just when an old ancient creature is given a ridiculous name like what i said before, its cringeworthy. I mean i see exactly where and what you mean by using a term of blood-drinker, that'd be awesome because its set in an older time. I like!

So I've been deeply sucked into the book I'm writing at the moment, I'm around 50 - 60 pages in but I'm beginning to think that the world they are situated in sounds a little daft or basic, and them other times i feel it sounds solid and epic. Its just called Kingdom. Does it sound too generic?

I am writing my first novel, I'm only having 3 main characters in it. But look at all those novels out there, bloody mental amounts of characters in some of them. go for it.

Yea i've read that quite alot on the forums, write, revise, re write. I suppose that is the fun of it all. I cant wait to get really stuck into it and get it revised. Its fantastic that there are no limits. Its my world and my idea. Thanks so much. This site is looking very helpful already...
