Converting the dragons since and shrinking it with magic would be easier then changing would be looking at human biology we have a tail bone which a dragon's tail can convert too. its easy when you get all the Land marks premade. along with the chosen colors to go into more detail. because then its copy and past for those. if enough time given could plan out a whole kingdom with it

im abit of everything of God like all the way down to just ****ed up in the head. example to have a villain that works in the background pushing pulling events to his/her desires leaving the hero's to a darker ending. or having a god like being who is top of the command with a army of minions...
