I'm definitely participating!
I don't have a definite goal as to how many words I want to write, but I just want to get this story down on paper in the end.
It's gonna be semi-autobiografic and will hopefully allow me to show others a little more about me than they might know :O
Hi there!
Welcome to the forums! I can say that I'm not as addicted as you yet (only 2 forums for me XD) but it's nice to see you discovered this one!
Do you think your manuscript is going to be as big as... lets say... J.K Rowling? Aka, are you confident about your works?
anyways, have a...
I agree with Dwarf. One chapter usually isn't enough to get me pulled into a story all the way. Somewhere between the third and fifth chapter I'm usually dragged in completely (if it's a good book). And after that I'd be willing to pay the fee to get the rest.
As you say, 25 is definitely a bad...
I fell absolutely in love with TenSoon, kandra are very high in my list of awesomest creatures ever. Too bad I'll never be able to steal them for a novel of my own XD
But for me the absolute one true love is Vampires. Any way shape or form. I love the mythological air of mystery about them...

Well, in the few starts I've made on novels my chapters vary from 10 pages to 17 for the one I'm working on currently...
(So yeah, I just posted the intro to my story in showcase, and that's only the first 3 pages.)
It all sort of depends on how many chapters you want to have in the end (I...
Hi there!
Same as Blayze I'm a completely newbie to the forums, but that definitely won't stop me from saying HI!
Looking forward to read your stuff, and getting to know (everyone here) better!
I can only get through the first lines (which make it sound like you DO know what you're talking about) before my eyes start to scramble everything into a big blur XD
Paragraphs please!
The Mistborn series also has creatures in it that can take any shape their want, be it human or animal, male or female.
but I'm guessing you mean actually changing from a normal male (human) into an actual female? And would this change be surgical or magical (because personally magically...
Oh, in that case I'd like to say vampires, cause I absolutely love vampire stories in every way shape or form... but that would be a lie cause the novel I'm working on doesn't have any XD
So I guess I don't really have anything that I have to have :O
