I have to say, I always love the sound of everything I hear about your work, Gryphos. You have one definite reader whenever you're finished. And cupiscent, your book sounds right up my alley as well, bloody fantastic.
Since the end of NaNoWriMo last year I've been escaping into fanfiction for...
I still feel really awful
Would anyone here consider themselves a real Dragon Age enthusiast who likes delving into the lore of the world? I am monstrously intimidated, and I hate that feeling, but even after reading plenty, I'm still struggling to feel like I have more than a basic grasp on it...
In the end I bloody loved DA2. I can see why some people might be disappointed after Origins, but I loved the characters, the conflicts and the build up of Hawke the refugee to Hawke the Champion of Kirkwall, and I got to romance a character I actually cared about. I'm very happy I played it...
Thanks for the answers, guys. I tried to play through more of Origins, if only because I didn't want it to be anything like Mass Effect where the second and third games would have been abysmal if I hadn't imported a save, but then I realised I really don't care about the outcome of Ferelden or...
Question. I've been desperate to play Inquisition for months, but since I got it for the holidays, it's sitting on my desk unloved and unopened because I never finished DA:O and I haven't even touched DA2. Is it 100% necessary, would you say, to play the previous games? I did try to pick up DA:O...
No recommendations (at the moment) but I like both of these, games and soundtracks! I dig your taste.

Been listening to this a lot lately, the creepy tone has really been working for my NaNoWriMo novel.
This is a really cool map. Thanks for sharing this, Steerpike, or I might never have seen it.
I would really love to see this done with the Americas, as I've recently been very interested in what the world would look like without European colonisation, particularly after doing some research...
I'm so close to meeting that little dot on the graph for the first time, but I have cheated a fair bit to get there. I think I'll at least write all new material to finally hit the target today, though.
Red Seas did do this! It definitely worked as a hook, even though the moment itself was pretty anti-climactic when we arrived at it in the story, but I think it only worked as a hook because we were already familiar with the characters. I don't think it would work as the opening of a standalone...
Okay, that sounds totally amazing. Westerns, were-people and trains are three of my favourite things! I do so hope you manage to get some words down, I'd love to see where it goes.
I am very behind, 3863, thanks to three days of agonising purely over which story to pursue. The choice I started...
Doing it! Torn between three ideas, but I think I've picked one. At least I have backups if I hit day 3 and realise I don't know where the hell I'm going and I just can't take the stupid idea anymore. I'm Erdboden on the NaNo site.
I don't think I've ever done this...
1. Star Trek: Enterprise
2. Black Books
3. Farscape
4. The IT Crowd
5. Blackadder
6. Sherlock
7. Prison Break
8. The Pretender
9. Deadwood
10. Quantum Leap
It was so hard to narrow down the British comedies, and British TV in general, so an honorable...
Hello and welcome, Jake! I was going to ask if it was the band, too (I love them), but the bird is just as awesome. Their symbolism is pretty crucial to my WIP, so I am definitely a fan of your username. I hope you have a great time here and find lots of useful information and camaraderie.
