Sticks&Scribbles

I'm a writer and indie author with five fantasy novels and one short story collection published. I'm also a freelance copyeditor and proofreader with professional training from ACES: The Society for Editing and the Editorial Freelancers Association.

I love to write fantasy the most, and that's what I read the most of too, but I also enjoy science fiction, mystery, cozy mysteries, and young adult and middle grade books. By far my favorite fantasy element is dragons. I also love animals and pets, so I love when stories have animal sidekicks.

Recent reads that I've enjoyed are A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik, Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson, the Love, Lies, and Hocus Pocus series by Lydia Sherrer, and the Nic Ward series by Z.J. Cannon. Long time favorites of mine include the Beka Cooper series and the Winding Circle books by Tamora Pierce and the Diving Universe series by Kristine Kathryn Rusch.
