I don't think it's a good idea to name your world. Is our world named? No. We have continents, countries, cities, etc. and that's all there needs to be in a fantasy world.

Readers like when they see you put a lot of work into creating your world. I think you should read at least one book from The Watergivers Series by Glenda Larke. She did an amazing job at creating a fantasy world.

I usually go to Google Translate and type in something about my character and translating it to another language and use that. I usually use Latin.

It always depends on the story. It is completely reasonable to have everyone have magical abilities, but this can make the story blander by eliminating that "coolness" of having magical abilities. Your concept is unique though-use it.
