Hi all. I am an aspiring author who has completed 6 fantasy novels, with the first professionally edited, and am seeking an agent. I enjoy learning from others, hearing others' struggles and triumphs, and being a part of a shared community. I am married, have 3 adult children, 5 dogs and 3 cats. Still working full time although I am past the age to be retired. Look forward to being part of this community.

Thank you for the welcome. Writing has been my sanity, and yes 5 dogs, but they are our babies, and we love them. The six books are two trilogies, the initial one that sets the stage and the world, from scratch, the second 3 books are a sequel 500 years in the future. The story is dark, where 3 magic orders fight and enemy that is essentially the embodiment of our own weaknesses and excesses. They must come to terms with that, and heal the divisions that have torn the asunder. Magis is essential, and is truly the power of awareness and seeking power from within. With awareness comes untapped potential, and a connection to their world and each other.
