I've made my way to the second boss in the game, Vordt.

On the first attempt I took him to the second phase, not bad at all.

Some Bosses are more annoying than others in 3. I remember there was this one that spammed AOE moves that CHUNKED your health.
Then there was this one boss who I killed first try. Or second. Cause I figured out the 'gimmick' early.

Picked up Penguin Colony to play with my wife for the Halloween weekend. It's sort of an anti-colonial retelling of Lovecraft's At the Mountain of Madness where you play as penguins watching a doomed group of Nazis on a scientific exploration in Antarctica. Very cool story, and also each different species of penguin has different platforming powers so it's got a bit of that Donkey Kong 64 vibe.

And I bought my wife Dressmaker, which she's playing more than I am but she does turn to me every few minutes and asks me, "do you like the houndstooth or tartan more?" Which is sort of like playing the game, in a way.

So far everything has been great, including me springing a nasty surprise fight for myself in the very opening parts of the game. I wasn't ready for it, but it was gloriously Dark Souls! :D

I definitely recommend getting it. I dare say that so far it deserves its cult status.
Hahaha, good to know!! I'll definitely give it a try!

I just want to say that the Undead Settlement, in Dark Souls 3, is a bit of a pain. I understand that urban planning isn't a thing in the Dark Souls world but the layout of this town is just insane.

Someone analyzed the 'survivability of invasions' for most towns in BOTW/TOTK hyrule.
The only place that was remotely passable from surviving an invading force was, Ironically enough Hyrule Castle. But even THAT could be easily invaded.
Second most logical city was the Rito Village and the person who made the video cited that the Rito could cut off ground access by destroying the bridges intentionally. Which IS seen in Age of Inprisonment.

Made my way further into the Undead Settlement and there's some asshole in a tower shooting giant arrows at me.

Anyway I made my way to the knight that goes around on all four limbs with a sword and does frost damage. He cut me down but I'll be returning with a few levels more of Stamina and HP.

I won't do the weird looking tree boss this run though.

Get used to that in that area lol though you will eventually get to meet and/or slay them.

That guys rough, especially when he gets the zoomies.

Right now I'm working on completing the Crown Tundra Pokedex as a living Dex in Sword and Shield.
It's one of the last things I need to do to register every pokemon into pokemon home's national dex.

What do I get for doing that? A mythical Pokemon with a sick paint job. It isn't even her shiny form lol
