Codex Alera

Hello people I am 5/6s of the way through the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher and I was wondering if anyone has read it and what they thought of it.

For myself I have thoroughly enjoyed. A really great fantasy series with a really awesome premise (or is it stupid idea made awesome). In any event I was wondering what you all felt.
