D&D

There's an interesting article on the creative lives inspired by D&D in the Times today: Log In - The New York Times

Can you imagine DM'g a group composed of Robin Williams, Stephen Colbert and Dan Harmon? I had have them play warrior clowns at a circus of the damned.

Also, I'm reading OF DICE AND MEN about the history of D&D. It's OK. The material on the game's ad hoc origins and on the business side is great. The material on the author's playing history, not so great, even if he tries to relate it to the business and cultural impact of D&D. The material relating his game experiences, I'm skipping. I love
my DM's post-game recaps, but reading recaps about a campaign I wasn't in is almost as bad as listening to someone describe a recent round of golf. Or reading Ray Feist.
