Dark Souls-like fantasy?

Just curious but does someone know if there is any fantasy literature written in a similar style to the Dark Souls-series of computer games?

To answer my own question, I did find some stuff based on the Dark Souls games, although I was more looking for original stories with the same, or similar, feel to them like the Dark Souls-games gives.

If you are interested, Berserk is very Souls like. The games were somewhat inspired by the Manga. I finally got around to reading them recently and they are great.
