Electricity manipulation

So I have a question for you all. How many times have you witnessed a character using the ability to control electricity in combat. I don't just mean being able to shoot massive bolts of lightning or lightning balls, but also using it to induce heart attacks, paralysis, and magnetic manipulation. I'm curious because I like to play around with that power and I want to make a character that utilizes this ability and I want to see how others use this skill.

It's certainly a common power.

But one common rule is that heart attacks and paralysis are a lot harder to arrange than you'd expect (considering how little current they'd need), because organic flesh or human souls seems to be a partial shield against the most direct uses of power, as opposed to throwing a bolt at someone. (Or, one alternative is that there's no such limit, but people have so little raw power that disrupting the body's weak points is one of the few things they're strong enough to do.)
