I'm an aspiring author who's been working on the same story for four years now without getting anywhere. I keep restarting and never get far before I quite and try again. What I have now doesn't even remotely resemble my original idea, but its so much better so I don't consider any of that time wasted. However now, I think its actually ready to be written and finished so I thought joining this site might keep me motivated.

I look forward sharing my passion for writing with everyone here.

I have found this forum to be helpful and supportive as well as fun and challenging.
I don't know of any story that I've finished that was anything like the story I had started with... I think that is part of the fun of writing; seeing where the story goes.
