I'm not sure if this is the best forum for this or not since it pertains to writing in a different sense, but I'm curious how one might go about becoming an editor and what sorts of skills, knowledge and resources might be helpful towards that end. I of course plan to continue my own writing as well, but I'm hoping eventually that I might be able to spin off the editing to create a bit of income on the side on a freelance basis.
