[Steel Dragon]

Hello. You can call me Steel, nobody calls me by my real name anyway. I'm here because I write fantasy, obviously. I don't draw from the traditional fantasy influences, I find many of them boring. I instead draw from videogames, primarliy the Warcraft Series (not just World of), comic books and Magic The Gathering. I currently have two ongoing series.

Bloodline: Based on my original warcraft character and the guildies she ran with. Story and setting are original, I just kept the characters and their names.

Fireflies: High fantasy cold war Black Ops. Rainbow Six: Azeroth.

I have a few other ideas floating around, but nothing I've started major work on. I'm currently in the process of splitting up one book into two because it's got too much going on. I've got four books I'm currently working on between these two series altogether.

I've never played Warcraft, and indeed don't even know what kind of game it is, but I bought my kids a lego goblin airship from the Warcraft line, and if that's any indication, I'm probably missing out!

Good to have you in our community. We've got all kinds of stuff going on here, from Challenges, to a Showcase, where you can share your work, to loads of forums where you can ask questions or pitch ideas and get feedback.
