I've posted a link here to my winning Preston Guild Poem.
Preston Poets Society
It's written in the voice of the goddess of the Ribble, Belisama, singing the history of Preston and calling on the city's people to rediscover their pride in the force of nature, both without and within themselves.
I'd argue that as a mythic poem based in the Bardic Tradition, which forms the root of the Celtic Fantasy and Mythical Reality genres it fits here, particularly as the site is called 'Mythic Scribes' but please feel free to remove if you disagree.
