What Are You Playing Now?

Victory!

With Gwyn defeated and this playthrough concluded I am now ready to move on to Dark Souls 2. I am not done with Dark Souls 1 and I will probably return in the future as I have more playthroughs planned but for the time being I shall focus on something else. :)

Anyway these are my five playthroughs and the ending level I had for each of them. Which I will share with you totally unsolicited.

Guy de Leonne - 115
Lorencio the Lasombra - 110
Brother Albrecht of the Black Templars - 87
Sir Godfrey the Dragonbane Knight - 89
Luthor the Heretic - 81

So as you can se its a vast improvement in my skills as I've been playing this game.
Congradulations!

I'm back to some more Dark Souls and working my way forward with Dark Souls 2
I am currently doing a Professor Oak Challenge (or POC for short) of Pokemon Leaf Green.

It is not for the faint of heart, you need to catch, level up or otherwise fully evolve (if possible) all pokemon in certain sections before proceeding to the next gym badge.

I've been told that the segments before Brock are the second most grueling part of the challenge.
And I believe them. I've clocked 18:50 in game hours just on this first section alone.

When the going gets tough, stay strong, and don't go hollow. 😉

I'm almost done with the stuff before brock haha, just gotta evolve Iveysaur and Mankey.
Both of which are nearly ready to evolve. (Iveysaur is 5 levels away and so is Mankey ) Then I Eviscerate brock (Who's far more lower leveled and using unevolved pokemon)

It's just grueling because you're only getting 22-50 EXP per knock out of a given wild pokemon and later levels (usually 15 and higher) of the pokemon you're raising require multiple thousands of EXP. It gets easier later in the game because the pokemon drop more EXP per kill and you can eventually re challenge trainers for good EXP. But for now, it's pain.

If you want to try it, I don't suggest starting on leaf green like I did. I only started with Leaf Green because it's the game I 'know' Best out of the old games.

I've made my way to the first mist wall. I'm unsure if this is where I enter to enable PVP or if there's a boss behind this one. But either way I'm getting hyped to push through it.

EDITED: And I've got myself a nice shield as well. :D

I am now on the way to the next city in my playthrough.
Catching every pokemon is fine enough, it's leveling up/evolving them that's a bit rough.
At least in the early areas where the exp yields are barely over 100.
