Writing this as a Swede, there is no really short resume of Norse mythology. I'd suggest starting with a look at Wikipedia and then following up with the various books and articles referenced there.
As a huge fan of Norse mythology (all my tattoos are inspired by it lol) I can try answering any questions you may have.
If you're looking for a fun source to learn more about it, I can recommend reading "Norse Mythology" by Neil Gaiman. It revolves mostly around creation of the world, Loki and Thor but it's quite a good read.
It's such a shame that most of Norse myths have been lost to time...
