Hello all, my name is Suzi, Just a bit about me - I'm an new indie author with one short fantasy story to my name, so far. I'm currently working on a series of books, threes at the mo which are all in different stages of completion. They are filled with magic and have a very strong pagan theme.

I love reading and will read pretty much anything, my fav is horror/fantasy my fav author is the master of horror, Stephen king. My favourite indie author is Nicky Charles, who writes paranormal romance, she is amazing and has given me the confidence to go ahead and put my first work on smashwords.

I am wife to Andy, my childhood sweetheart and we are parents to six kids (three boys and three girls), we have six wonderful grandchildren (four girls and two baby boys). I am a Latter-day Saint (Mormon) and I am also very open minded and love to hear about other peoples beliefs but I never debate religion as each person has the rights to believe and worship how they desire.

I live in the heart of Yorkshire, England, never lived anywhere else but I do love to travel around the UK, I haven't finished discovering this beautiful country I live in yet. I'm a member of the English Heritage and love to visit castles and such.

I recently went into business with my daughter, we make clothes, learning aids and soft toys and furnishings aimed at the pagan family. The idea is to bring these things to them at a decent price and not the usual inflated cost simply because they want something different. It helps that my daughter is pagan so she knows how difficult it is.

I'm a bit on the nutty side and got in to writing to try and find a home for all the stuff going on in my head. It didn't work, the more I write the more stuff finds a home in my heads dusty old brain! I'v joined Mythic Scribes after coming across them on twitter (I don't really get twitter) and after checking the community out I decided I'd like to be part of that community. I'm looking forward to learning from all the resources available and to getting to know you all.

I'v bent your ear long enough :)

Nice to have you join us Suzi. I love the UK and have very positive feelings for the people of Yorkshire in particular.

I am quite interested in paganism and pagan themes. I look forward to learning more about your work and perhaps seeing some.

Hopefully you will find the discussions around here useful.

My pagan expert is my daughter, in fact, we do a lot of our writing together. We created this world of ours together and it has a strange mix of Pagan/Christianity that is not offensive.

Welcome :)

You had my attention at "pagan" and piqued my interest at "pagan/Christian" blend. Is there any way we can coax the title out of you?

lol Bodelia's Anguish, its only a short story 1000 and its available on smashwords..... didnt want to advertise it, I find that rather rude to go straight in with "hey check my book out"

Congrats on getting your book out into the world though, I hope to someday get my stuff published.
I would love to visit the UK one day though.

Hello ArenRax, pagan themes, lots of different goddesses (and the odd god thrown in for good measure). Their magic comes from the goddesses but channelled through nature. A lot of the symbols I use are pagan too.
