Looking for name ideas

I'm not very good with naming places so I'm wondering if anyone could help me with name ideas for these settlements. The setting itself is dark fantasy, primarily 19th century and gothic horror. Mostly Victorian inspired. Sorry if it's a lot.

1) A small, snowy mountain town with a high population of "Northman" type immigrants.

2) A thriving town of fatalists.

3) A logging township growing in wealth.

4) A ghost town.

5) A populous Northern town that is a center of trade and intrigue.

6) A highly religious "church city" with many cathedrals, chapels, and other religious sites.

7) A university town with books on forbidden and obscure knowledge near a mysterious and deep loch.

8) A mining told that still keeps to old pagan ways and is watched over by a covern of witches.

9) A port city with canals that is a main center of maritime trade.

10) A seedy riverport city at the meeting point of two rivers.

WooHooMan

Auror
2) Cowslip, a Watership Down reference
6) Godelieve, not a portmanteau of God and believe. It's actually the name of a Christian saint but having the word God and most of the word "believe" would bring religiousness to the reader's mind.
8) Kafferwich Town, kafar (or something like that) is an old term for witchcraft while -wich is a suffix that was often used for British mining towns (while also being a homonym of witch).

Naming things is just a matter of finding the right sound to get an image in the reader's head.
Also, this link might help...

I'll take a look at the link. Also those names fit quite well.
