I pulled, edited, and rereleased several of my books multiple times because of this. I went through them with free Grammarly, which caught about 60% of the issues, and with paid Grammarly, which still missed stuff.

You can just go into kdp and re-upload the script of your text.

But...every time you do this, you have to make sure the formatting is right.

If its a paper back...look for edit paperback details.

log into KDP, go to your bookshelf. Scroll down to the book you want to edit. You'll see an image of the cover. On the right (assuming desktop computer screen, not mobile), there should be a line for your ebook, showing its status and price etc. Look for "actions for kindle e-book" (or something similar). There are 3 dots next to it: "..." Click on those. That gives you a menu with all the actions you have for your ebook. Click on edit ebook content.

The first option on the page is Upload manuscript. Use that to upload your new version of your manuscript.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the save and continue button. This takes you to the page with all the prices for your ebooks. Again scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the publish ebook button. This publishes your updated version. Expect 48 hours or so for the changes to take effect.

This isn't much help, but an anecdote.
I've had one novel properly published.
I wrote it.
I edited it myself. multiple times.
I paid a professional to edit it. went through it multiple times with her
The publisher's editor went over it. Made some changes.
And... I have one finicky reader who found some typos and the like

I edited at least a score of times and republished my ebook four times, and still find errors. I finally realized that with any complex writing you will invariably continue to find errors and typos. With each deep dive into my novel I reworded some things and introduced errors and typos that had not previously existed.

I finally started looking into Tolkien and the LotR and found that the MOST correct version published was done around 2004-2005 (50th Anniversary Edition). Armed with this knowledge, I realized, my published book may never be perfect, and finally decided to set a date which I would do a final publish and then leave the errors alone for at least a year before revisiting and revising any more.

If Tolkien's works are still debatably flawed, I suppose I can cut myself a little slack, too.

Well I thought this type of thing will never happen to a author. But now I think it's a common thing to happen๐Ÿ˜….

I was freaking out when it happened to me earlier but after seeing this replies I calmed a little and reuploaded the script file..

Now it is available in amazon kdp

It's okay. Breathe. Ebooks and novels are words for different things. A novel is a work of fiction over 40k words. An ebook is a format for publishing your novel. It and paperback are both formats you can offer your book in. Look at this example.

Amazon.com: Faerie Rising: The First Book of Binding (The Books of Binding 1) eBook : Lowan, A. E.: Kindle Store

This is the first book in our series - I write with a team - and as you can see, it's a novel, and it's offered in both formats. Does this help make it clearer?

One night at around 2am, one of my best friends and worst betas drunk-dialed me to tell me that we'd used the wrong form of "shear" in our second book... nearly a year after we published it. I love her, but sometimes I feel like I need the key to her merlot stash.

Yeah....Ebook and novel is alike apples and oranges. An novel can be in ebook format, or it can be a paperback or a hard cover. An ebook is a format, it encompassass everythign from micro story to epic fantasy 1000's of pages long.

An ebook can be a novel, and a novel can be an ebook, but both are separate from each other in the category they are in. Hope that makes sense.

You have a novel that is in ebook format.

I've begun to notice that many authors get reins and reigns wrong. One is what you put over a horse's head, the other a term in governance.

I can't actually spell anything, so I'm at the mercy of Spellcheck and Irish intuition. lol Rein and Reign took concentration to get straight, and Principle and Principal still get me sometimes. Taking Latin in college and just having to master Old English, Middle English, Early Modern English - yeah - with just enough Japanese to cleanse the pallet - another one! - only did me in good stead at research time. :p

For me, the greatest vexation is words I think are typed on page, but actually are not. My brain never sees that they are missing. I need other readers to point them out. Which is why I am so grateful for the early readers. Beta readers help me immensely.

My wife is dyslexic and also the best editor I know. She reads the whole thing backwards at editing time and it helps a lot with that.
