Hey! I'm a new fantasy author. I just started a few months ago. I've just been building since then, and began drafting my first book last week. Hope i get better

Yes. I've published a comic fantasy novella (featured on the Self-Promotion forum on this site) as well as a satire with a contemporary setting. I wrote a short story on this site's Writing Challenges in January, and compete regularly in 75-word challenges on another site.

Welcome! Good fortune with your book!

Best advice:

Write a little every day, even if the vibe isn't there, even if you think it is horrible.

That approach let me finish and publish a dozen books.

What really?? A dozen books? What are they about?

Most of my books are set in a tottering empire on another planet, where characters struggle to forge new lives in a nation they no longer understand while coping with past trauma in the wake of the Demon War.

'Empire' is he main series - six books plus the omnibus. It revolves around four main characters: Tia, a wealthy commoner hunting for a highborn husband; her maid and minstrel, Rebecca; her bodyguard, grim Sir Peter, a bastard knight weary of shedding blood on distant battlefields; and Tia's oafish carriage driver, Kyle, a serf drafted into the legions and trained in the rudiments of magic, now suffering from what we would call PTSD. Together and apart, these four contend with abominations, bandits, scheming aristocrats, cities on the brink of anarchy, and more. But the demons are still out there, whispering in Tia's dreams.

'Labyrinth Journal' takes place at the same time as 'Empire' and shares some crossover characters. It is the journal of an exiled aristocrat who flees into a living labyrinth hundreds of miles across.

'Labyrinth War' takes place a decade after the 'Empire' series. Long ago, the utterly inhuman Old Ones ruled the world, creating technomagical wonders and terrors, and importing other races as servitors and test subjects. Then they vanished; the slave races founded nations, and their trinkets began to fail. Now they are back...and they are not happy.

'Empire: Southern Heat' is a linked collection of spicier stories set mostly in the decadent port city of Ismara, decades after the events of 'Empire.' Lots of naked people (human and other) engaged in naked people activities.

'Exiles: Pilgrimage' is a continuation of Tia's adventures, set on a bizarre planet dominated by a narrow ribbon of land wrapped around the world, dotted with fiefs and tribes and strange alien shrines. Tia's companions are scattered along this ribbon; reuniting means joining the pilgrims traveling between the shrines.

'Disharmonious Spheres' is linked with 'Exiles: Pilgrimage.' A mad quest through a mad universe.

'Reset' is a far-future nightmare.

That's so cool! Even I'm attempting something like that. Hey, can you tell me where can I have discussions about work and all?
