It's a common mistake my parents make, I have explained to them many times. The guy is Link, the 'legend' is about Zelda.
Though to be fair, they call Mario games "Mario's" also, which, they are technically correct but...it's like calling Pokemon a 'Pikachu' game lol
Funniest thing about their knowledge of the gaming space is that they think Nintendo / Microsoft / Sony are the only gaming companies...which eh? I kinda don't blame them for that one TBH.
