Hello everyone!

I'm new to these fantasy forums, so I'll start off with some introductions I'm currently a student at the University of Huddersfield, and an aspiring high fantasy author, currently writing a trilogy. I love Tolkien-esque fantasy, and I'm also a big fan of Simon Scarrow's Roman novels, who is a big influence on me.

I'm an undergraduate at the moment, studying for a Bachelor's degree in Music Technology. I've always wanted to be a recording & touring artist first, but writing is probably on par in terms of passion

Welcome! What is your favorite Simon Scarrow novel?

Well at the moment I'm working my way through his Eagle series. I've read Eagle and the Wolves, Centurion, The Gladiator and now I'm working my way through The Legion. I have to say though, The Gladiator was extremely well done, some unexpected plot twists, and the story had a strong villain which was something I felt was absent from the other two.
