I'm the author The Riyria Revelations, The Riyria Chronicles, Hollow World, and a new series, The Legends of The First Empire, which start with Age of Myth releasing in June 2016. I've been published by a small press, self, and through two big-five publishers Orbit (fantasy imprint of big-five Hachette Book Group) and Del Rey (fantasy imprint of Penguin Random House). I've even done a hybrid model for Hollow World (print rights were sold to Tachyon Publications, audio rights to Recorded Books, but I've retained my ebook rights). I know quite a bit about all publishing options, so if you ever have questions, feel free to ask.
