    Killing off a character.

If that was aimed at me killing off one of my MC's believe me it was no easy feat letting such a character go. The character is my favourite. It just naturally happened and felt needed which made the story all that much better and believable in a sense.

    Wheel of Time Series

I love this series and think sanderson is doing an amazing job. The books are heavy reading but heh I associate heavy reading with high/epic fantasy. Think there is only 2-3 books left if i remember right or is it one. either way I will be sad to see it go. Not many books around like it nowadays...

    The Hunger Games Trilogy

Love them. I saw the first movie but will have to go see it again as I was just out the dentist and was not paying much attention. Haven't read the books in a few years though. Will have to dig them out again. It's one of the few series where I like first person narrative.

    Killing off a character.

I've killed one character so far who was minor..ish but yeah. Also have one of my mains (I have 3 POV characters) dying at the end of book one. They were supposed to live but yeah.... not gonna happen it seems lol

    Can Writing Be Taught?

This is a recent example of a ok writer improving making her stories and making them oh so much better. Stephanie Myers. There was a hint of a good story in the twilight books. Just a hint. Then her writing improved a little throughout the series. (I said her writing not her story telling...

    Can Writing Be Taught?

I think to some extent yes but you can't teach anyone to be the next Sanderson, Donaldson, Martin, or Jordan to name a few. There could be genius writers out there who just need to learn to hone their skills. But I don't believe you can teach anyone to be an amazing writer if they don't have the...

    Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

I'll still go see it because I love a good laugh. Wonder if the book will ever get a sequel? In the end it was a good read and iI certainly won't look at Lincoln the same way again lol.

    Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

It's out in cinemas soon too D: I did kind of like the book. It was really funny although I'm not sure it was meant to be. heh

On expository clumps, first drafts, and self criticism

I have a problem with doing that. What I do, and it may not help, is get a nice large Mocha(any drink of choice) and put some music on that I associate with my story and try to think of what is coming next or excite myself about a scene I really want to write. If that doesn't work I just keep...

    =^.^= Hi!

Yeah crime is a long way away from fantasy lol. Been fun studying gangsters and trials and everything else to do with criminals. But those are weekend projects. Yeah I haven't ran into many people who know it either. There's only 1 pub in my area who serves it.

    Average Chapter Length?

I like a variety. I like both long and short chapters in a book. In writing though I really don't take much notice. The chapter breaks fall where it feels natural.
