I've met some of my best friends through writing :). It doesn't have to be lonely although of course the actual writing tends to be done alone. I find when I'm focused on a story the hours fly by too fast.
However, given that it may take a while to get published and earn enough to live on...

I write fantasy novels but currently unpublished. I've written six full length (100K+) novels and a few smaller ones (50-60K).
I love writing first drafts but I'm not so good with the editing side so I'm hoping to get inspired...
