I'm having trouble deciding if I'm bombarding the reader with too much information or not enough. I have quite a few different races, personalities of the race, and their culture and language. I'm introducing the characters throughout the book and explaining their race as they are introduced...
Does a name give readers a bias opinion on how well a book is written? My name can be taken as someone who's snobbish or an older woman. I'm afraid if I use it instead of a pen name readers will expect my work to be better than it is. I'm not saying that it's bad, I just don't want expectations...
Codey - I'll remember to thoroughly explain in any future research threads I may have. ;) I think I may go bigger. It will mesh well with how I want the body found.
Play Alice: Madness Returns. They have something similar to a flesh golem, except it's baby doll parts and an oily substance...
Actually, it doesn't just shove the female out of the way, she has something it wants and shoves her away to get it, killing her. I didn't want the scene to be too gruesome to the point of ridiculous, but I want the hit hard enough to be instant death, so there's no witnesses as for what the...
If a golem made of mud were to hit a female (unarmored) in the chest what kind of damage would that do to her ribs/chest cavity? The swing would be equivalent to pushing someone out of the way, not a full angry swing, and the female would be caught unaware.
I don't usually listen to music when I write, or else my mind takes off on different things instead of focusing on what I'm writing. :o I tried heavy metal when I'm in a fight scene but usually it ended up becoming too violent than what I originally intended. No music for me.
I was definitely addicted to WoW. I'd get up in the morning, play a few minutes or get it ready for when I got home, go to work, come home, make a quick dinner for hubby (bf at the time) and I, and sit down and play till late at night. My husband could never really get into it. He said it was...
You guys are awesome! Thanks for the responses. :) I was a bit skeptical if I could actually write a story the length it needed to be to be considered a novel. I guess if it doesn't get up there I can still have it as a novella. Thanks, again!
It's my favorite because it was my first ever Final Fantasy game. I really enjoyed how the battles were played, the graphics (especially the spells!) and the card game I kicked butt in. It was all new and exciting for me. I'm betting if I played FF VII first I wouldn't have liked FF VIII so...
1. FF VIII was my first FF I bought. I LOVED it.
2. FF Crystal Chronicles on GameCube. It was a cute co-op game my hubby and I played in our first apartment. I guess it has sentimental value for me and that's why it rates second.
3. FF Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearer for Wii. We bought this...
