I'd have to say my beliefs are definitely in my works. That's mainly because it has a role in my books that help to guide the characters.

I'm having trouble deciding if I'm bombarding the reader with too much information or not enough. I have quite a few different races, personalities of the race, and their culture and language. I'm introducing the characters throughout the book and explaining their race as they are introduced...

Does a name give readers a bias opinion on how well a book is written? My name can be taken as someone who's snobbish or an older woman. I'm afraid if I use it instead of a pen name readers will expect my work to be better than it is. I'm not saying that it's bad, I just don't want expectations...

If a golem made of mud were to hit a female (unarmored) in the chest what kind of damage would that do to her ribs/chest cavity? The swing would be equivalent to pushing someone out of the way, not a full angry swing, and the female would be caught unaware.

I don't usually listen to music when I write, or else my mind takes off on different things instead of focusing on what I'm writing. :o I tried heavy metal when I'm in a fight scene but usually it ended up becoming too violent than what I originally intended. No music for me.
