Hi all. Nice looking forum you have here.

I'm a compulsive world-builder who occasionally decides they should do something with all that hard work and then tries to hammer a decent storyline out of the setting. I've done technical writing as part of some of my jobs and occasionally copywrite on a freelance basis but have never really got to the end of a fiction project - certainly nowhere near any sort of publication or distribution. I'm back in that cycle again and will hopefully be getting further this time than I have before. At this rate I'll have a first draft completed sometime in my eighties.

I hope I can offer the forum the benefits of my (ok, rather dubious) wisdom and remain open to suggestions that 'world-building' shouldn't have a hyphen.
