It's free and has just about everything I need

ArchmageIt is. OpenOffice doesn't keep adding as many 'bells and whistles' and might be a tad more stable. I use Libre mostly because it comes with most Linux distributions and implements more OpenType features. I need my small caps.I thought libre office is just what open office evolved into. I think open office is kind of just an older rendition.
Myth WeaverIt is very similar. LibreOffice is a fork of OpenOffice.I use Open Office
It's basically Microsoft Word but Free.
It's got the same aesthetic (like where all the tools and stuff are) and everything which I like.
Only complaint is that the Dictionary / Thesaurus are pretty outdated. So if you typo a word you have to google it sometimes.
Is that like Open Office or is that something new entirely?

IstarIf you want to write in Google Docs or any other online writing tool for that matter, you have to split your manuscript in chapters. So each chapter gets a single file. And only when your done you start combining them into a single file.Currently, I use Google Docs for writing.
But sometimes it hangs...
What better tool can you recommend?
