Hi! I'm Datar, and I mainly write historical and contemporary fantasy. I studied Creative Writing and I miss surrounding myself with fellow writers and lovers of speculative fiction, so I joined this forum to meet some new people! Currently, I'm dabbling in graphic novels and comics as well and would love to meet people who want to do/are doing the same.

I've not read many GN but I have liked those that I have.
Recently I have read the GN of the original Alien film script [when it was still called Star Beast].

Thank you for all the kind replies and sorry for the late response! LAG I'm familiar with heavy metal but not metal hurlant!
I'm still new to Western comics and am still checking them out! So far, I've liked Monstress (the style is gorgeous) and the ubiquitous SAGA. I've started reading The Witcher comics now because I'm a huge fan
