Anyone here write scripts?

So, I assume most writing advice here is tailored to novels and perhaps also short stories. But is there anyone else here who prefer to make scripts?

I think I am better at writing scripts than I am with novels. I've never been great with the fanciful descriptions found in novels, and my stories tend to be fast paced, which I think is probably better suited for scripts. I also simply find them more fun to write.

Idk exactly what medium I am writing for (comics, plays, or TV.) I don't particularly care about the medium so long as I get to tell the stories I want to tell and the creative freedom for it.

Also, I wonder if I should even bother with script-writing since you're not gonna find any success unless you already have some connections in those industries.

So, anyone else here like writing scripts? How much success have you had? Do you have any tips for others seeking to have their scripts made into something like a comic or some other medium?

On the advice of an established script writer, I once turned one in to Script Revolution. It got me two followers and a ton of spam.

I have had loads of fun with scripts but it does seem like selling a bit of your soul. They come out exactly like a poached egg for me, and a little like a dried tongue in cheek bit of cheese. Maybe a sushi roll?

What does it for me is a spark to the magic of the movies. I think it is much less like all the other forms of art because it is timeless, you can jam a period into a movie. However writing a script is different from making a movie. There is a whole purview to the writing and directing and producing of a movie.

A book is like dog, a man and his best friend, it can be written and performed and all sorts of things can be done with the imagination. A movie is more like the rest of the movies that come out in a generation however the genre can deviate from it entirely or a score can arrest a parsimony.
