External linking question

I had read in the rules that I could link to my author website in my signature. Can I also link to my books "tvtropes.org" page? I'm quite proud of it but not sure if that violates some rule.

I'm not sure it's a rule, but it's certainly a guideline. I agree with pmmg.

But something seems odd here. You want to link to tvtropes.org because you are quite proud of that page, but in your sig you say that page is not very good. Why not just switch the one link for the other?

Its my author website that isn't very good. The TV tropes page better. I just wasn't sure I was allowed to link to TVtropes period, since its an external site I don't controll.
