Primarily meant for game designers, but useful to all manner of writers, this video series cheerfully dissects the flaws in major video games to see how they can be improved. It takes a highbrow tone, and there's a lot to unpack about how stories are crafted and the emotional impact they can have. I've just started watching, but their Wolfenstein video is worth a look for its counterargument to Edgar Allan Poe's philosophy of composition, analyzing how Wolfenstein's mix of wildly contrasting emotions ultimately helps more than it hurts.
