A couple people have commented on the map I have for my new novel, which is mentioned in the self-promotion zone. The main page is donjon; RPG Tools. This site allows you to get ideas for plots, characters, goals and several other things you may want in your story. The map maker is at donjon; Fractal World Generator It I a wonderful tool and the map you crate can be saved to you computer and opened in Photoshop t modify it as you like. Here is a small section of my map. Hope people can make use of this.

I've never made a map before, but I want to. Is there any way to depict waterfalls?

There is no waterfall symbol on the website. You simply need to decide what you would like to find or create to use, then add I using Photoshop. Also consider having a minimum size limit. For example you may decide that anything smaller than a village will not be indicated unless it is very special or important. The fun in making your world whatever you want t to be.
