Generic alternative for "motorized"

I want to get across that something can change position other than by a human doing it manually. I don't want to say automatic, but instead use a word that encompasses some sort of motive force. "Motorized" is OK, but it occurs to me that there are plenty of ways to move something that doesn't involve a motor (a solenoid, or hydraulics for example). Ideas?

Without knowing exactly what you're trying to describe here go bunch of bad suggestions, focused more in the traveling aspect and less in the mechanical one: Motile, wandering, roaming, itinerant, roving, walker.

I guess they would work best if paired with another word, like "the roving citatel". (ok, this one was bad)
If you take this path you'll be able to keep some sort of fantastic atmosphere even describing something steampunk.

Trying to be generic, all I can come up with is "self-propelled." Or maybe "mechanized."

Thanks, guys. I am going for the mechanical meaning, rather than the traveling one. I actually thought about saying "mechanical," but it occurs to me that even if something is moved by hand that is technically a "mechanical" movement.

I like "mechanized," though. Going to have to think about that a bit, but it may work.

Thanks, again!

First thought:
Kinetic - relating to the motion of material bodies and the forces associated therewith; characterized by motion or supplying motive force.

Second (though less mechanical in meaning):
Dynamic - characterized by action or forcefulness; action rather than a state of being used.
